Berard Olivewood Salad Bowl

A rustic wooden bowl made from sustainably-sourced olivewood, which is special for its warm hue and durability.

—DETAILS— Since 1892, French company Bérard has specialised in wooden products for the kitchen and table. This olivewood bowl can be used to serve salad or as a fruit bowl, adding rustic charm to any table. It’s difficult to break, making it great for houses with young children and pets. To restore sheen, simply rub the bowl with food-safe mineral oil or Berard Wood Butter. Olivewood is known for its warm hue and strong contrasting grain pattern. The timbre comes from non-fruiting olivewood trees around the Mediterranean. Due to its unique grain pattern, no two olivewood pieces are alike.

Please note: We brought in the extra-large 38cm diameter bowl (with a generous height of 17cm); an exceptional, one-off item due to the size of the raw olivewood piece from which it is made.
